Backend Developer

Zetaton is seeking a Remote Backend Developer with 1+ years of experience. You’ll build and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and integrate Firebase. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure a smooth user experience, focusing on OOP and TypeScript to deliver clean, maintainable code. This role lets you make an impact on innovative projects in a dynamic remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.
Implement and manage databases using MongoDB.
Work with Firebase for backend integration and cloud services.
Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in daily development.
Utilize Typescript for enhanced type safety and development efficiency.
Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of hands-on experience in backend development.
Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express framework.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
Experience with Typescript.
Experience with Firebase for cloud services and integration.
Proficiency in working with MongoDB for database management.
Familiarity with Java programming.
Ability to work remotely with strong communication and collaboration skills.
Problem-solving attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
